July at Halkin: The Month Ahead

    June 28, 2019

The Halkin team is looking forward to a scorching July – and not just because of the hot weather (fingers crossed)!

    What’s got us so lit?

Two things, mainly. First of all we’re really excited about the country’s up and coming sporting events – need we mention the Women’s World Cup final? But England’s sports scene isn’t the only thing on fire. Our portfolio is too – albeit not literally…

Two brand new workspaces in Mayfair

It only feels like yesterday that we unveiled our boutique flexible workspace at 13 Hanover Square. Hard to believe that was way back in February.

This month, we’re thrilled to announce two new openings at 15 and 15 Hanover Square. This brings our number of locations to seven – with more announcements to follow soon.

    15 Hanover Square

We worked with our design partners in crime, Meyer Office Solutions, to refurbish this self-sufficient office space in W1. Members benefit from healthy doses of natural light as well access to meeting rooms, breakout space and Crossrail’s new station at Bond Street.

    16 Hanover Square

A mere hop, skip and a jump’ll get you to our next new workspace at number 16 – an elegant period building nestled in the corner of the north side of the square. Like number 13, offices are beautifully boutique.

Original Georgian features include high ceilings and sash windows that fill the rooms with light, helping to create a productive atmosphere.

    Wimbledon season

Nothing says summer like the start of Wimbledon (1st to 14th). Even if you weren’t lucky in the ballot, it’s always worth queuing up for general admission.

In fact, we’d recommend the post-work pilgrimage to anyone: rushing onto the District line, picnicing in the queue and then catching a couple of hours of tennis before sunset.

Rumour has it Andy Murray and Jamie Murray could meet in the doubles third round.

    Also in July…

Women’s World Cup Final: July 7th

    Tour de France: 6th – 28th

    Grand Prix: 12th – 14th

    Netball World Cup: 12th – 21st

    Golf – The Open: 18th -21st

Cricket World Cup – to 15th July

Whatever industry you’re in, enjoy July, leave the office on time and don’t forget the sunscreen!
