#HumansOfHalkin – Meet Kieran Christie, Head of Sales

“Im a Croydon boy born and bred. I grew up in the house that everyone always wanted to come back to. We had a room called The Blue Room with recording equipment and used to make music after school.

I lived there until I was 16 when my parents split up. I moved in with my mum and got a job. School wasn’t really my thing but business definitely was. I saved up and went to live in Gran Canaria for a year.

We were supposed to go out there to sell time shares but ended up creating the most popular bar crawl on the island. I made a lot of money and I made it fast but I missed my family so I came back to the UK because at the heart of everything I’m a family man.

Health and happiness are so important and that comes from feeling confident and secure. My mum always gave me the confidence to be brave, take chances and believe in myself and perhaps it’s for that reason I’m here today.

I want to create that for a my kids when I have them. I want to settle down this year and get a cottage in the country with my girlfriend because that above anything else is what matters to me.
